「穀雨（4/19〜5/4）」とは、二十四節気の一つで、地上にあるたくさんの穀物に雨が振り、水分と栄養がため込まれる頃のことである。また、「白昼夢」とは目が覚めているときに空想や想像が視覚化して現れ、それにふけって放心状態になることである。それら二つの言葉を意味的に、音楽的に結ぶ２台ピアノのための作品である。 2025年2月19日に洗足学園音楽大学、前田ホールにて世界初演された Grain rain (April 19 to May 4) is one of the 24 solar terms, which refers to the time when rain falls on many grains on the ground to store moisture and nutrients. Daydreaming" refers to the visualization of fantasies and imaginings while awake, and the state of indulgence that results in a state of absentmindedness. This is a work for two pianos that connects these two words semantically and musically. The world premiere was held on February 19, 2025 at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, Maeda Hall.
